2. Open the hood and locate the clutch pedal assembly. It is on the driver's side at the top of the engine.
3. Loosen the locknut on the clutch rod clevis bolt with a 3/8-inch wrench.
4. Turn the clevis bolt until the pedal has 1 to 1 1/4 inches of free travel before the clutch disengages.
5. Recheck and adjust as necessary.
6. Tighten the locknut on the clevis bolt.
7. Close the hood.
8. Test the clutch adjustment by driving the truck. The clutch should engage smoothly and not slip.
