- Replacement Front Turn Signal Lamp
1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine. For additional safety, you can also disconnect the battery.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the turn signal lamp assembly. It is located in the front of your car, on the side of the headlight.
4. Remove the screws that hold the turn signal lamp assembly in place. There are usually two screws. One is located at the top of the turn signal lamp assembly and one below it.
5. Once the screws are removed, you can remove the turn signal lamp assembly from the car. Be careful not to drop it.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the turn signal lamp assembly.
7. Remove the old turn signal lamp from the assembly. Twist the lamp counterclockwise to remove it.
8. Insert the new turn signal lamp into the assembly. Twist it clockwise to secure it.
9. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the turn signal lamp assembly.
10. Reinstall the turn signal lamp assembly into the car. Replace screws you removed in step 4 to secure the assembly.
11. Close the hood of your car.
12. Test the new turn signal lamp to make sure it works.
Note: If your turn signal lamp is still not working,
- Check the fuse for the turn signal circuit.
- Check the turn signal switch.
