How do you bleed clutch in 1992 Mitsubishi eclipse?

How to Bleed the Clutch on a 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse

1. Park the car on a level surface and turn off the engine.

2. Open the hood and locate the clutch master cylinder. It is usually located on the firewall near the brake master cylinder.

3. Remove the cap from the clutch master cylinder and check the fluid level. The fluid should be at the "full" mark.

4. If the fluid level is low, add enough DOT 3 brake fluid to bring it up to the "full" mark.

5. Connect a clear hose to the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder. The slave cylinder is located on the transmission near the clutch fork.

6. Place the other end of the hose in a container of brake fluid.

7. Have a helper slowly press down on the clutch pedal while you open the bleeder valve.

8. Close the bleeder valve before the pedal reaches the floor.

9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 until no air bubbles are coming out of the hose.

10. Tighten the bleeder valve and remove the hose.

11. Replace the cap on the clutch master cylinder.

12. Test the clutch by shifting into first gear and letting out the clutch pedal slowly. The car should not move if the clutch is properly bled.
