Here are the steps involved:
1.) First, make sure that the car is parked on a flat surface with the engine off and the parking brake on.
2.) Open the hood of the car.
3.) Locate the serpentine belt. It is typically located on the front of the engine and runs around all of the pulleys.
4.) Loosen the tension on the serpentine belt. This can be done by using a wrench or ratcheting system to turn the tensioner pulley counterclockwise.
5.) Once the tension is loosened, remove the old serpentine belt from the pulleys.
6.) Install the new serpentine belt in the reverse order that it was removed.
7.) Make sure the belt is properly seated around all of the pulleys.
8.) Tighten the tensioner pulley until the belt is snug.
9.) Start the engine and check to make sure the belt is running properly.
10.) Close the hood of the car.
