- A lug wrench
- A socket wrench
- A locking lug nut key
- A hammer
1. Locate the locking lug nut on the wheel. It is usually identified by a different shape or color than the other lug nuts.
2. Place the locking lug nut key onto the lug nut.
3. Use the lug wrench to turn the locking lug nut key counterclockwise until the lug nut loosens.
4. Once the lug nut is loosened, use the socket wrench to remove it completely.
If you do not have a locking lug nut key, you can try to remove the lug nut with a hammer and chisel. To do this, place the chisel on the edge of the lug nut and hit it with the hammer. Be careful not to damage the lug nut or the wheel.
If the lug nut is too tight, you may need to use a breaker bar to loosen it. A breaker bar is a long metal bar that gives you more leverage when turning a lug nut.
