* A timing light
* A 10mm socket wrench
* A flat-blade screwdriver
* A 17mm wrench
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air intake hose from the turbocharger.
3. Remove the bolt that holds the timing cover in place.
4. Remove the timing cover.
5. Locate the timing mark on the crankshaft pulley.
6. Align the timing mark on the crankshaft pulley with the pointer on the timing cover.
7. Check that the timing marks on the camshaft pulley are aligned with the marks on the timing cover.
8. If the timing marks are not aligned, loosen the bolts that hold the camshaft pulley in place and rotate the pulley until the marks are aligned.
9. Tighten the bolts that hold the camshaft pulley in place.
10. Replace the timing cover and the bolt that holds it in place.
11. Replace the air intake hose.
12. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
