Instructions
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Raise the vehicle with a jack and place jack stands under the vehicle for safety.
4. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
5. Locate the back motor mount. It is located at the rear of the engine, near the transmission.
6. Remove the nuts and bolts that secure the rear motor mount bracket. There may be one nut on top of the bracket and two bolts on the bottom, near the transmission.
7. Once all of the nuts and bolts are removed, you may be able to simply lift the bracket off the motor mount and transmission. If the bracket is corroded to the motor mount and transmission, you may have to use a pry bar to separate the bracket.
8. Replace the old rear motor mount with a new one.
9. Replace the bracket and secure it with the nuts and bolts that were removed previously.
10. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
11. Lower the vehicle from the jack stands.
12. Start the car and check for leaks and proper functioning of the engine and transmission.
