How do you remove rear axle on Kubota 1100 rtv?

To remove the rear axle on a Kubota 1100 RTV, you will need the following tools and materials:

- 19 mm socket wrench

- 17 mm socket wrench

- 14 mm socket wrench

- 12 mm socket wrench

- 10 mm socket wrench

- Phillips head screwdriver

- Flathead screwdriver

- Pry bar

- Jack and jack stands

- Safety glasses

- Gloves

Instructions:

1. Park the Kubota 1100 RTV on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down completely.

3. Chock the front wheels to prevent the RTV from rolling.

4. Raise the rear of the RTV using a jack and jack stands. Make sure the RTV is securely supported before proceeding.

5. Remove the lug nuts from the rear wheels and remove the wheels.

6. Use a 19 mm socket wrench to remove the four bolts that hold the differential housing to the rear axle.

7. Use a 17 mm socket wrench to remove the two bolts that hold the parking brake caliper to the differential housing.

8. Use a 14 mm socket wrench to remove the two bolts that hold the driveshaft to the differential housing.

9. Use a 12 mm socket wrench to remove the four bolts that hold the brake line bracket to the differential housing.

10. Use a 10 mm socket wrench to remove the two bolts that hold the electrical connector bracket to the differential housing.

11. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the differential housing breather cap in place.

12. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the differential housing breather cap off.

13. Use a pry bar to pry the differential housing off of the rear axle.

14. Be careful not to damage the differential housing or the rear axle when prying them apart.

15. Once the differential housing is removed, you can remove the rear axle from the RTV.

Note:

- Be careful not to damage the axle seals when removing the rear axle.

- If you are replacing the rear axle, make sure to use a new axle seal.
