1. Open the hood of your vehicle.
2. Locate the transmission fluid filler plug, which is located on the top of the transmission housing, underneath the air intake box.
3. Use a funnel to pour the transmission fluid into the filler hole until it begins to overflow.
4. Allow the excess fluid to drain back into the transmission housing.
5. Reinstall the plug.
6. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes, then shift through all of the gears.
7. Check the transmission fluid level again and add more fluid if necessary.
Make sure to use the correct type of transmission fluid, as specified in your owner's manual. Incorrect fluid can cause damage to your transmission.
