Raise the car: Safely elevate the front end of the car using a jack and jack stands. Make sure the car is parked on a level surface and the emergency brake is engaged. Don't forget to place wheel chocks behind the tires to prevent the vehicle from rolling.

Test the clutch: Lower the car and start the engine. Press down on the clutch pedal and ensure the gears engage smoothly without any slipping or grinding noises. If the clutch feels too stiff or too loose, repeat steps 3 to 5 until you achieve optimal engagement.
Be cautious when adjusting the clutch cable since too much tension can cause premature wear and damage, while too little tension can result in slipping and difficulty engaging gears.
