Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
Open the hood.
Locate the air filter housing. It is usually located in the engine compartment, near the top of the engine.
Unclip the air filter housing cover.
Remove the old air filter.
Insert the new air filter.
Reattach the air filter housing cover.
Close the hood.
It is recommended to change the air filter every 12,000 miles or once a year, whichever comes first.
