A 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO was sold at auction for $28,400,000 in 2014, making it the most expensive car ever sold. The car is one of only 39 GTOs ever produced, and it was raced successfully by some of the greatest drivers in history, including Stirling Moss and Phil Hill. The car was sold by British collector Lord Bamford to American collector David MacNeil.
