2. Park your vehicle on a level surface.
3. Locate the transmission fluid dipstick. It is usually near the back of the engine, on the driver's side.
4. Pull out the dipstick and check the fluid level. It should be between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks on the dipstick.
5. If the fluid level is low, you will need to add more transmission fluid. Use a funnel to pour the fluid into the transmission fluid reservoir.
6. Check the fluid level again and make sure it is between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks on the dipstick.
7. Replace the dipstick and close the hood.
8. Test drive your vehicle to make sure the transmission is shifting smoothly.
