The Hyundai Kona Electric manages to be more efficient, has more range and charges faster than the Chevrolet Bolt EV and the Nissan Leaf. This is a very impressive feat.

However, availability will be its biggest problem. As any other electric car made by the Hyundai Kia Automotive Group, this will also be an unicorn. For example, Tesla will soon produce more Tesla Model 3 per month, than Hyundai plans to produce the Kona Electric for a whole year (18.600 units)…

Until legacy automakers start using low-cobalt content batteries like Tesla, production capacity will remain laughable.
