Here are some additional tips for changing the remote control battery in a 2003 Volkswagen Golf:
- Make sure that you have the correct type of battery for your remote control. The battery type is usually printed on the inside of the remote control cover.
- Be careful not to drop the battery or the key blade when you are changing the battery.
- If the remote control is still not working after you have changed the battery, you may need to have it reprogrammed by a Volkswagen dealer or qualified auto locksmith.
