Antifreeze is a coolant primarily used in vehicle engines. It's typically stored in a sealed reservoir or coolant tank under the hood, away from the air vents. While engine compartments can generate heat, the vents generally draw air from outside the vehicle or recirculate cabin air, not from the engine compartment where antifreeze is located. Consequently, fumes from the coolant are not usually released into the interior cabin where your respiratory tract can experience direct exposure.
