Where do you hook up the hose to add freon a 1995 Chevy Monte Carlo?

The 1995 Chevy Monte Carlo uses R-134a refrigerant. To add Freon (R-134a), connect the charging hose of a Freon charging kit to the system’s low-pressure service port. This port has “L” stamped next to it and is located on the accumulator at the firewall on the passenger side of the engine on V6 models or directly on the evaporator core next to the firewall behind and below the air cleaner housing on V8 models.
