- Disconnect the ignition coil electrical connectors located on the back of the engine using a torx driver.
- Remove the four bolts that hold the ignition coils to the engine using an 8 mm socket.
- Remove the four ignition coils.
- Use a deep well spark plug socket and a 3/8-inch drive ratchet to loosen the spark plugs and remove them from the cylinder heads.
- Screw the new spark plugs into the cylinder heads by hand until they are finger tight.
- Use the ratchet and spark plug socket to tighten the new spark plugs. The proper tightening torque is 20 ft-lbs.
- Apply dielectric grease to the ignition coil boots and re-install the ignition coils.
- Reconnect the ignition coil electrical connectors.
- Replace the engine cover.
