How do you drain radiator on 2002 Subaru Outback?

To drain the radiator on a 2002 Subaru Outback, follow these steps:

1. Park the vehicle on level ground and allow the engine to cool completely.

2. Open the radiator cap to relieve pressure.

3. Locate the drain plug/cock on the bottom of the radiator.

4. Place a drain pan under the drain plug/cock and open it.

5. Allow all the coolant to drain from the radiator.

6. Close the drain plug/cock.

7. Refill the radiator with new coolant.

8. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the new coolant.

9. Check the coolant level and add more if necessary.

10. Close the radiator cap.

NOTE: If you are draining the coolant to perform maintenance, be sure to flush the radiator with a quality radiator flush product. This will help remove any sediment or debris that may be built up in the system.
