The fuel filter for this model is located within the fuel tank. Access to the filter is via the fuel pump assembly access cover located under the rear passenger seat.
Removal
1) Remove cushion by pulling it upwards from the front or rear of the cushion until the retaining hooks disengage.
2) Remove the access cover by turning the cover counter-clockwise until the cover loosens and lift the access cover.
2007 - 2021 Kluger models (ACU30 - ACU55/MCU26 - MCU36)
The fuel filter for these models are accessible under the vehicle, near the fuel tank.
Removal
1) Locate the filter, which is housed in a cylindrical canister and secured with two bolts.
2) Loosen the bolts using a wrench or socket and remove the filter canister.
3) Inside you'll find the filter element. Inspect it for dirt, debris, or discoloration and replace it if necessary.
