1. Open the hood of your Toyota Previa.
The hood release lever is located inside the vehicle, on the driver's side footwell. Pull the lever to release the hood and then prop it up with the support rod.
2. Locate the fuse box.
The fuse box is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, near the battery. It is a black plastic box with a cover that says "Fuses" on it.
3. Remove the cover of the fuse box.
To remove the cover, simply pull it straight up.
4. Find the air conditioning relay switch.
The air conditioning relay switch is located in the top row of fuses, second from the left. It is a small, black relay switch with a green cap.
5. Replace the air conditioning relay switch.
To replace the air conditioning relay switch, simply pull the old one out of its socket and insert the new one. Make sure that the new switch is properly seated in the socket before closing the fuse box cover.
6. Close the fuse box cover.
Once you have replaced the air conditioning relay switch, close the fuse box cover by pushing it down until it snaps into place.
7. Test the air conditioning.
Start your Toyota Previa and turn on the air conditioning. If the air conditioning is not working, check to make sure that the new relay switch is properly seated in its socket. If the switch is properly seated, then the problem may be with the air conditioning compressor or another component of the air conditioning system.
