How do you adust a strater clutch on 1983 Honda CB1000?

To adjust the starter clutch on a 1983 Honda CB1000, follow these steps:

1. Remove the left engine cover.

2. Remove the starter motor.

3. Remove the starter clutch cover.

4. The starter clutch is located behind the starter clutch cover.

5. There are three screws that hold the starter clutch in place. Loosen these screws.

6. Turn the starter clutch assembly until the teeth on the starter clutch align with the teeth on the starter gear.

7. Tighten the screws that hold the starter clutch in place.

8. Reinstall the starter clutch cover.

9. Reinstall the starter motor.

10. Reinstall the left engine cover.

Note: Be sure to use a torque wrench when tightening the screws that hold the starter clutch in place. The torque specification for these screws is 10-12 Nm.
