- Open the Hood.
- Locate the radiator.
- At the bottom of the radiator, there is a radiator drain valve usually has a plastic knob. (It is usually on the driver’s side or the bottom at the center.)
- Turn the knob counterclockwise to open the drain valve and drain the coolant.
- You may need to use pliers if it is too tight to turn by hand.
- Let all the coolant drain from the radiator.
