Step 1: Locate the hood release lever inside your car. Mercedes Benz E350 has the release lever on the front driver's side footwell area next to the door.
Step 2: Pull the black release lever towards the rear of the vehicle.
Step 3: Go to the front of your car and look for the secondary release latch lever. It is positioned on the front driver's side, just above the hood.
Step 4: Pull the secondary latch lever up.
Step 5: Prop up the hood using the prop rod. The hood prop rod is on the passenger side of the engine bay.
