1. Park the motorcycle on a level surface. This will ensure the oil is evenly distributed in the engine.
2. Turn off the engine and let it cool for a few minutes. This will prevent you from burning yourself.
3. Locate the oil level window on the left side of the engine. It is a small, rectangular window with a yellow or orange cap.
4. Unscrew the oil level window cap and remove it.
5. Inspect the oil level. The oil should be visible in the window and should be between the two marks on the dipstick.
6. If the oil level is low, add oil until it is between the two marks on the dipstick. Use only the recommended type of oil, as specified in your owner's manual.
7. Screw the oil level window cap back in and tighten it securely.
Here are some additional tips for checking the oil level on a Yamaha XT350:
* Make sure the motorcycle is level when checking the oil. If the motorcycle is not level, the oil will not be evenly distributed and you will get a false reading.
* Check the oil level regularly. It is recommended that you check the oil every 1,000 miles or so.
* If you are adding oil, add it slowly and in small increments. This will help prevent overfilling the engine.
* If you are still not sure how to check the oil level on your Yamaha XT350, refer to your owner's manual.
