1. Park the vehicle on level ground and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the brake fluid reservoir. It is usually located under the hood, in the back left corner of the engine compartment. The reservoir is a clear plastic container with a black cap.
3. Look at the fluid level in the reservoir. The fluid should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the side of the reservoir.
4. If the fluid level is low, you will need to add more brake fluid. Use only DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid.
5. To add brake fluid, remove the cap from the reservoir and carefully pour the fluid into the reservoir until the level reaches between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks.
6. Replace the cap on the reservoir.
7. Start the vehicle and pump the brake pedal a few times. This will help to distribute the new brake fluid throughout the brake system.
8. Recheck the fluid level and add more fluid if necessary.
It is important to check the brake fluid level regularly, as low brake fluid can lead to decreased braking performance and potential safety hazards.
