* Replacement heater hose fitting
* 3/8-inch or 10-mm wrench
* Pliers
* Socket set
* Drain pan
* Rags
* Coolant
Instructions:
1. Remove the negative battery cable.
2. Locate the heater hose fitting that needs to be replaced. It is located on the engine block near the back of the engine.
3. Place the drain pan under the heater hose fitting.
4. Use the wrench to loosen the clamp that secures the heater hose to the fitting.
5. Use the pliers to remove the hose from the fitting.
6. Discard the old fitting.
7. Apply a thin coat of sealant to the threads of the new fitting.
8. Screw the new fitting into place by hand.
9. Use the wrench to tighten the fitting until it is snug.
10. Reattach the heater hose to the fitting and secure it with the clamp.
11. Fill the radiator with coolant and reconnect the negative battery cable.
12. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the coolant.
13. Check for leaks around the heater hose fitting and tighten if necessary.
