2000-2004 Dodge Dakota 4x4 with 4.7L V8 engine - Thermostat location:

- Open the hood of the Dakota.

- Look at the front of the engine.

- The thermostat housing will be located on the left (driver's) side of the engine, near the top.

- The thermostat is held in place by two bolts.
