How do you burp the cooling system on a 1998 range rover?

To burp the cooling system on a 1998 Range Rover, follow these steps:

Park your vehicle on level ground and turn off the engine.

Allow the engine to cool down completely.

Open the hood and locate the radiator cap.

Turn the radiator cap counterclockwise to loosen it and then slowly remove it.

Add coolant to the radiator until it is full.

Replace the radiator cap and turn it clockwise until it is tight.

Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.

Turn the heater on high and feel the temperature of the air coming out of the vents. If the air is hot, the cooling system is properly burped.

If the air coming out of the vents is not hot, repeat steps 4 through 7 until the air is hot.

Once the cooling system is properly burped, turn off the engine and let it cool down completely.

Check the coolant level in the radiator and add more coolant if necessary.

Replace the radiator cap and close the hood.

Your cooling system is now properly burped.
