Will an engine from a CB900 Honda custom fit CB1000 custom?

The CB900 and CB1000 engines are not interchangeable. While both engines are built by Honda, they differ significantly in terms of design and performance. The CB900 engine is a 900cc air-cooled inline four-cylinder engine, while the CB1000 engine is a 1,000cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine. Additionally, the CB1000 engine incorporates several advanced technologies, such as fuel injection and electronic ignition, that are not present on the CB900 engine.

The dimensions and mounting points of the CB900 and CB1000 engines are also different, making it difficult to install a CB900 engine in a CB1000 motorcycle.
