1. Make sure the motorcycle is parked on level ground.
2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down for a few minutes.
3. Remove the oil dipstick, which is located on the right side of the engine, just below the oil tank.
4. Wipe the dipstick clean with a rag.
5. Reinsert the dipstick into the oil tank until it is seated properly.
6. Remove the dipstick again and check the oil level. The oil should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the dipstick.
7. If the oil level is low, add enough oil to bring it up to the "Full" mark. Use only the type of oil that is specified in the owner's manual.
8. Reinsert the dipstick and make sure it is seated properly.
It's important to check the oil level regularly, as low oil can damage the engine. You should also check the oil for any signs of contamination, such as water or metal shavings. If you notice any contamination, you should have the oil changed as soon as possible.
