1. Locate the starter motor on the front of the engine, below the intake manifold.
2. It is attached to the engine block by two bolts.
3. The positive battery cable is attached to the starter motor with a large nut and the ground wire is attached to a smaller bolt on the starter.
4. To remove the starter, first disconnect the battery cables. Then, remove the two bolts that attach the starter to the engine block.
5. Finally, remove the starter by pulling it straight out from the engine.
