Where is the crank shaft position sensor 2004 silverado?

The crankshaft position sensor on a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado is located on the front of the engine, near the oil filter. It is a small, cylindrical sensor with a wire connector on one end. The sensor is mounted in the engine block and reads the position of the crankshaft as the engine rotates. This information is used by the engine control module (ECM) to control the timing of the fuel injection and ignition.
