The 4G15 Cyclone engine uses a distributor with a different mounting flange and different drive gear teeth than the 4G13 carbureted engine. Additionally, the 4G15 Cyclone distributor has different ignition timing settings and spark plug wire routing than the 4G13 carbureted engine.
Therefore, using the 4G15 Cyclone distributor on a 4G13 carbureted engine will result in incorrect ignition timing and poor engine performance.
