- A faulty EGR valve
- A clogged EGR valve or EGR passage
- A faulty EGR sensor
- A problem with the ECM
To diagnose the problem, you will need to inspect the EGR valve and EGR passage for any signs of damage or blockage. You should also check the EGR sensor and the ECM for any problems. If you are not sure how to do this, you should take your Odyssey to a qualified mechanic.
Once the problem has been diagnosed, you will need to replace the faulty component or repair the damaged part. In some cases, you may be able to clean the EGR valve or EGR passage yourself. However, if the problem is with the EGR sensor or the ECM, you will need to have it repaired by a qualified mechanic.
