How do you change a low beam headlight bulb on 2003 Honda Accord?

Tools and Materials Needed:

- Replacement low beam headlight bulb (check your owner's manual for the correct type)

- Phillips-head screwdriver

- Flat-head screwdriver

Instructions:

1. Turn off the engine and allow the headlights to cool down. This will help prevent burns and damage to the headlight assembly.

2. Open the hood of your Accord. Refer to your owner's manual for instructions on how to do this.

3. Locate the low beam headlight assembly. It is typically located behind the front grille on the driver's side of the vehicle.

4. Remove the plastic cover from the back of the headlight assembly. There may be one or more Phillips-head screws that need to be removed.

5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the headlight bulb. Press the release tab on the connector and pull it straight off.

6. Remove the old headlight bulb. Twist the bulb counterclockwise to remove it from the socket.

7. Install the new headlight bulb. Align the tabs on the bulb with the slots in the socket and twist it clockwise until it is secure.

8. Reconnect the electrical connector. Push the connector back onto the bulb until it clicks into place.

9. Replace the plastic cover on the back of the headlight assembly. Screw in the Phillips-head screws, if applicable.

10. Close the hood of your Accord.

Tips:

- If you have difficulty removing the old headlight bulb, you can try using a flat-head screwdriver to pry it out of the socket.

- Be careful not to touch the new bulb with your fingers, as this can cause it to burn out prematurely.

- If you have any questions or concerns, consult your owner's manual or a qualified mechanic.
