6. Once the DTCs are displayed, select the option to clear or erase the codes.
7. Confirm that you want to clear the codes, and the scan tool or code reader will reset the Service Engine Soon light.
8. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the scan tool or code reader.
9. Start the engine, and the Service Engine Soon light should be turned off.
