- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Flathead Screwdriver
- Socket Wrench (10 mm)
- Torx Screwdriver (T30)
- Replacement Halogen Bulb (H7 for pre-2019 models and D3S for 2019+ models)
Step 1: Open the hood
1. Locate the hood release lever inside your car, usually near the driver's left footwell.
2. Pull the lever to release the hood.
3. Go to the front of your car and lift the hood.
4. Secure the hood with the prop rod.
Step 2: Remove the headlight assembly.
1. Pull the headlight assembly out of the housing by grabbing it from the side and gently pulling.
2. To fully remove the headlight assembly from the vehicle, you will need to remove the side marker light by gently pulling it.
Step 3: Remove the existing lightbulb
1. Locate the bulb housing cap at the rear of the headlight assembly.
2. Turn the bulb housing counterclockwise to remove it.
3. Remove the old lightbulb by gently pulling or twisting it out of its socket.
4. Be careful not to drop or damage the bulb.
Step 4: Install the new lightbulb
1. Take your new bulb and gently insert it into the socket.
2. Turn the bulb housing clockwise to secure it.
Step 5: Reinstall the headlight assembly
1. Reinsert the side marker light into its socket.
2. Position the headlight assembly into its proper housing.
3. Push the assembly into place until it properly clicks in place.
4. Check that the headlight is firmly secured by attempting to gently remove it.
Step 6: Close the hood
1. Close the hood by lowering it gently.
2. Release the hood prop rod and ensure the hood is securely latched.
Replace the left bulb following the same process.
