1. Check the power steering fluid level. The reservoir for the power steering fluid is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment. It is a clear plastic container with a black cap. The fluid level should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the reservoir.
2. If the fluid level is low, add enough power steering fluid to bring it up to the "MAX" mark. Use only power steering fluid that is recommended by Mercedes-Benz.
3. Close the cap of the reservoir.
4. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. This will circulate the power steering fluid and help to remove any air bubbles from the system.
5. Check the power steering fluid level again. If it is low, add more fluid as needed.
