1. Gather the Necessary Tools:

-New primer button (Part # 3931058)

-Degreaser or brake cleaner
2. Preparation:
-Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down.
-Engage the parking brake and chock the wheels to ensure the vehicle doesn't move during the repair.
-Locate the primer button on the passenger side of the engine block, near the fuel filter housing.
3. Remove the Old Primer Button:
-Use a flat-head screwdriver or needle-nosed pliers to gently pry off the plastic cap covering the primer button.
-Using the 10mm socket and wrench, loosen and remove the two bolts holding the primer button in place. Be careful not to drop the bolts.
4. Clean the Area:
-With the old primer button removed, clean the surrounding area using a rag and degreaser or brake cleaner. Remove any dirt, grime, or old gasket material.
5. Install the New Primer Button:
-Apply a thin layer of sealant or gasket maker to the new primer button's base before installing it.
-Align the new primer button with the holes on the engine block.

-Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for any leaks around the primer button. If there are no leaks, the repair is successful.
7. Reinstall the Plastic Cap:
-Once you're satisfied with the repair, replace the plastic cap on the primer button. Press firmly until it snaps into place.

-Use a rag to clean up any excess sealant or spilled fluids.
