The fuel pump of the Daihatsu Applause is located inside the fuel tank. To access the fuel pump, you will need to remove the access panel located under the rear seat of the vehicle. Once the access panel is removed, you will be able to see the top of the fuel tank. The fuel pump is located inside the tank and can be accessed by removing a large retaining nut located at the top of the tank.
