Open the fuse box: The fuse box in the Peugeot 406 is located under the bonnet (hood) of the car, on the passenger side. Open the bonnet and look for a black plastic cover with the word "FUSE" written on it.
Remove the fuse box cover: To remove the fuse box cover, gently pry it open using a flat-head screwdriver or your fingers.
