6. Refilling the Fluid:
- If the fluid level is low, you'll need to add some transmission fluid.
- Use the recommended transmission fluid specified in your Citroen C5's owner's manual.
- Use a funnel to carefully add fluid through the dipstick tube. Avoid overfilling.
- Re-check the fluid level once you've added fluid to ensure it's between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks.
7. Reinsert the Dipstick:
- Once the fluid level is correct, reinsert the fluid dipstick into its tube until it's fully seated.
It's important to check the transmission fluid level regularly, especially if you're experiencing any issues with shifting or gear changes. If you notice any significant fluid loss or unusual fluid appearance, it's recommended to have your C5 inspected by a qualified mechanic.
