How do you change the headlight of BMW 323i?

To change the headlight of a BMW 323i, you will need the following tools:

* Philips head screwdriver

* Flat head screwdriver

* 8mm socket wrench

* 10mm socket wrench

* Extension for the socket wrench

* New headlight bulb (H7 or H3, depending on the model year of your 323i)

Instructions:

1. Open the hood of your BMW 323i.

2. Locate the headlight assembly that you need to replace.

3. Use the 8mm socket wrench to remove the two screws that hold the headlight assembly in place.

4. Once the screws are removed, you can lift out the headlight assembly.

5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the headlight assembly.

6. Use the flat head screwdriver to pry off the dust cover from the back of the headlight assembly.

7. Use the 10mm socket wrench and the extension to remove the three nuts that hold the headlight bulb in place.

8. Once the nuts are removed, you can remove the old headlight bulb and replace it with the new one.

9. Replace the nuts that hold the headlight bulb in place.

10. Replace the dust cover on the back of the headlight assembly.

11. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the headlight assembly.

12. Lower the headlight assembly back into place and replace the two screws that you removed in step 3.

13. Close the hood of your BMW 323i.

Note: If you have a BMW 323i with xenon headlights, the process for replacing the headlight bulb is slightly different. You will need to remove the entire headlight assembly from the car in order to access the headlight bulb.
