1) Open the driver’s side door and locate the fuse box cover at the bottom of the dashboard.
2) Remove the bottom cover by prying it open with your fingers.
3) Locate the fuse labeled “STOP” or “STLP” (Stop Lamp) in the fuse diagram located on the inside of the lid.
4) Remove the fuse by gently prying it out with a fuse removal tool or a pair of needle-nose pliers.
2012 and newer models
1) Lift the hood of your car.
2) Locate the fuse box on the driver's side of the engine compartment, near the battery.
3) Identify the fuse labeled as “TAIL” (tail lights) or “BRAK” (brake lights) from the fuse diagram provided on the underside of the fuse box cover.
4) Replace the faulty fuse with a new fuse of the same amperage rating.
