Step 3: Adjust the blade height.
- Remove the screws from the blade adjustment plate and remove the plate.
- Make sure the blade height adjustment screw is set at the desired height for your lawn, the blade gap should be between 1.3 cm and 2 cm.
- Reattach the blade adjustment plate and screws.
Step 4: Adjust the blade angle.
- Loosen the blade angle adjustment screws.
- Turn the blade adjusting nut to adjust the angle of the blade.
- Retighten the blade angle adjustment screws.
Step 5: Sharpen the blades if necessary.
- Inspect the blades for any nicks or damage. Sharpen the blades with a metal file if required.
Step 6: Test the mower.
- Start the engine and engage the cutting blades. Walk the mower over a flat, level surface to check if it cuts evenly and has a smooth finish.
Make adjustments as needed until you are satisfied with the cutting performance of your mower.
