1. Locate the PCV valve. It is usually located on the top of the engine, near the back of the valve cover.
2. Remove the PCV valve. It can usually be removed by hand.
3. Inspect the PCV valve. If the valve is dirty or damaged, it should be replaced.
4. Reinstall the PCV valve. Make sure that it is seated properly in the grommet.
5. Connect the PCV valve hose. If the hose is cracked or damaged, it should be replaced.
6. Reinstall the oil filler cap.
7. Reset the check engine light.
