1. Park your van in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Jack up the front of your van and support it with jack stands.
4. Locate the starter. It is located on the driver's side of the engine, near the bottom.
5. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
6. Remove the bolts that hold the starter in place.
7. Remove the starter from the vehicle.
8. Install the new starter.
9. Reinstall the bolts that hold the starter in place.
10. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
11. Lower the van off the jack stands.
12. Test the starter.
