1. Sit in the driver's seat and make sure all doors are closed.
2. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
3. Press and hold the "TRIP RESET" button on the instrument panel for at least five seconds.
4. The odometer will display "RESET".
5. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
6. Wait for at least ten seconds.
7. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position to start the engine.
The computer has now been reset.
