1. Remove the two saddlebags brackets by extracting the bolt located at the bottom of both brackets and another one between the brackets and under the side cover/
2. Now remove the two bolts that go through the rear of the fender and connects to the support strut.
3. Remove the two bolts located on the lower part of the struts at the rear axle.
4. Remove the 4 bolts that attach the struts to the frame. Lift the fender, and remove it.
5. Remove the turn signal lights if you wish to keep them by unscrewing the single screw that holds them.
6. Unplug the license plate light, and relocate it to the aftermarket fender if you’ll not be replacing the stock taillight.
